Pelosi offers 'No Regrets' on how relief bill was handled after delay

March 31, 2020 / 1.4K views

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was on MSNBC and offered no regrets to the speed at which Congress acted on a relief bill after a short delay. The relief bill, as it unfolds, has turned out to have a lot of "pork" for bigger places and a little bit of trimmings in the shape of a measly $1,200 check for Americans.

Pelosi was accused of delaying the bill, as stated on Daily Caller, "Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi delayed the passage of the Senate’s coronavirus relief package on Wednesday, as the House was in session for nearly three minutes and then adjourned until Thursday."

After both parties agreed on terms, the bill was quickly signed by President Donald Trump.

Despite the country being in need of relief as many are forced to stay home from work, it's now being revealed just how much went to bigger companies and how little might be in the hands of the hardworking American citizens.
