House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is criticizing President Donald Trump and his administration for how they responded to the outbreak warnings a few months ago. However, around the same time, Trump was starting to issue travel restrictions to China while Nancy Pelosi was playing with impeachment pens during the Democrat's attack on the president.
This was the middle of January.
Trump's administration claims they responded slow to the news or warnings of the issues coming from China because they were distracted by impeachment pushed by Democrats.
It was two weeks later that Trump started restricting travel.
According to FactCheck, Trump issued the travel restriction back on January 31. "Azar declared a public health emergency for the novel coronavirus on Jan. 31, and announced the travel restrictions to and from China, effective Feb. 2. On Feb. 29, Trump expanded those travel restrictions to Iran."
It's important to know that neither of these are truly related, but it's ironic that Nancy Pelosi is criticizing his response to the virus, but around the same time she was also focused on impeachment - just like Trump was.
It seems like her criticism of Trump's campaign is simply unnecessary.
