If you thought the concept of Big Brother was a myth, then think again. Police in New Jersey are using drones to spy on people to enforce social distancing. They are using them in tight areas, like alleys and back yards according to the news clip.
Even more disturbing is that the drones are donated by a Chinese company, which is the last thing any police officer should be using.
Elizabeth Harrington wrote on Twitter, "The drones, donated by DJI, a Chinese company, have gone to 43 agencies in 22 states, all to help enforce social distancing rules." US using Chinese drones to spy on and lecture Americans about a virus caused by communist China Oh, and DJI "may be sending data to China."
I was unable to verify if, or what, information might be sent to China. However, if I was a police officer, there's no way I would be using the drones against people in their own backyard. A family who lives together should be able to sit in their own backyard without some spying drone above their head.
