Postmaster General stands up to Dem Senator who asked about limited overtime

August 21, 2020 / 794 views

Here is Postmaster General Louis DeJoy standing his ground against Democrat Senator Gary Peters of Michigan. The Democrat Senator asked about the USPS limiting overtime, but DeJoy suggests otherwise and says they've spent about $700 million on overtime this year. Of course, we need to check those numbers and maybe ask some postal workers what they think. But then the Senator gets snippy and asks DeJoy to send him over the information. Well, I guess that's fine, but his tone of voice was annoying and condescending to me. Maaaa, can you gimme the reporrrrr? (say it in Cartman's voice).
