White House press secretary Jen Psaki addresses the police shooting of Columbus, OH teenager Ma’Khia Bryant.
Psaki mentioned people in foster care having a tough time and also touched on racial issues, like addressing systemic racism.
Psaki says "We know that police violence disproportionately impacts black and Latino people and communities and that black women and girls, like black men and boys, experience higher rates of police violence."

However, Jen Psaki purposely left out the part where Ma'Khia Bryant had a knife in her hand and appeared to be swinging it towards another girl and that was why the officer fired.
The police body cam video of Ma'Khia Bryant shooting shows the knife in hand, pulled back and appearing to swing forward. It's clear as day and the other girl was in a defensive position with her leg up - that's when the officer fired.
By leaving that part out, Jen Psaki contributes to dividing the country by pushing a narrative and making it look like the cop showed up and just randomly shot a teenager. If Psaki talks about the knife Bryant was swinging, then it provides a more HONEST story to the public, who can then decide how to feel about it.

This is how anti-cop narratives start and violence can erupt across the country because of it.
Psaki either didn't watch the video or she's being purposely dishonest in her answer.Source: trendingviews
