Republican Senator Richard Burr gets called out for selling his stocks after a coronavirus meeting, right before the stock market crashed. Tucker Carlson says, "There is no greater moral crime than betraying your country in a time of crisis."
Burr is accused of inside trading in the sense that he knew more information about coronavirus and the impact on the economy or stock market, and allegedly allowed Americans to think everything was fine - but then sold off some of his stocks.
It's a situation that is currently evolving as we find out more information.
So far, four Senators have sold their stocks right before the crash, as reported earlier. They are Dianne Feinstein, Richard Burr, Kelly Loeffler, and James Inhofe.
