Surgeon General: social distancing protects 'nana, your granddaddy, the people you love'

March 15, 2020 / 613 views

U.S. Surgeon General VADM Jerome M. Adams goes live on video to give a solid message about why social distancing is helpful. It protects the people around you, especially the older generation who might be more susceptible to catching any illness that. The younger generations might have stronger immune systems, so they have a little bit of extra protection. But we should all do our part for the next week or so just to help out.

Adams says:

Social distancing and mitigation-- they're not to protect the 30-year-old or the 20-year-old from getting coronavirus. They are to protect your nana, your granddaddy, the people you love in your lives and we need your help. We all have a role to play
