President Donald Trump posts a new video on Twitter that condemns the bad behavior that occurred on January 6th when people stormed the Capitol. Trump shames those who participated in the incursion, attacking officers, and anyone who participated in vandalism or other attacks as "no true supporter of mine." The president calls for a peaceful and incident-free transition of power to Joe Biden and wishes for Americans to help ease tensions. Two notable quotes are as follows:

“I unequivocally condemn the violence that we saw last week. Violence and vandalism have absolutely no place in our country and our movement.”

“In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be NO violence, NO lawbreaking and NO vandalism of any kind. That is not what I stand for, and it is not what America stands for. I call on ALL Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers. Thank You.”
