Woman From Fake Homeless Viral Video Arrested
A scandalous woman with questionable mental illness was arrested recently by the Henrico County Sheriff's department for lobbing Gatorade bottles at moving cars. The lady was charged with three counts of throwing missiles at a car in motion, a felony in violation of a Virginia statute. She is being held on a secured bond at the Henrico County Jail.
While she may have been arrested for the missile throwing (it sounds so sinister, doesn't it?), she was not charged for the unnecessary panhandling she allegedly was doing before being confronted by a couple of guys with cameras. Their Youtube video of this fake homeless lady had over 2 million views in just a few days after featuring on the front page of Reddit. Youtube subsequently yanked down the video citing a conflict with their 'bullying' rules.
If you ask me, she was not being bullied, she was having light shone upon her illegal scam which preys on the hearts and emotions of good Samaritans. But hey, I'm not Youtube. Right?
The woman, later identified as Micha Leigh Dominguez, was known in the area for soliciting people for money near an intersection in Richmond, Virginia. After watching her finish her panhandling and leave the area, two men decided to see where she went and followed her around the corner.
She arrived at a McDonalds parking lot, where she was parked. That’s when she is confronted with the fact that her car, a good-looking model from 2014, called into question her need to beg for money in the first place.
They question her about her homeless status after realising she is is lying about her financial position. She acts as if she doesn’t know what they are talking about, and heads to the McDonalds to ask for help. The employees there understandably inform her they can’t do anything, so she gives up and heads back.
Eventually she tells them that she doesn’t beg because she is homeless, but because she has a disability. She is asked what the nature of her disability is, but she refuses to respond and leaves in her car. They accuse her of getting help from the government she doesn’t need, when there are people out there without fancy cars who genuinely need the help.
Dressed in active wear and sporting a T-shirt that reads “I train while you sleep”, she looks like a middle class American going out for a run.
But the lady caught jogging in viral video is not out to burn calories. Sprinting in and out of traffic, she is allegedly begging for money from heavy-hearted drivers stopped at a busy intersection - much to the outrage of the men who created the film.
The guys who made the infamous viral video exposé hit her with questions such as, "“This is wrong. You're taking people’s money. What year is that vehicle? You’re begging for money, why do you do that? You own a car, you’re not homeless. Some people are really homeless and need help.”
As you might have guessed, she had no good answers. She was caught and all she could think of was how the heck she was going to get away from the guys who just blew up her whole nefarious operation.
Her excuse of saying she never claimed to be homeless is apparently proved false in the video where a sign seemingly says she is homeless. She offered an excuse of being disabled. That's almost believable to me, if she said she was MENTALLY UNSTABLE. Who actually preys upon good Samaritans like this, woman?
Regarding her eventual arrest on the felony charges, police had the following to say: "Upon arrival the officers located the female complainant in the parking lot near the IHOP restaurant. The complainant advised officers that while standing in the median, several people began harassing her and videotaping her," Police Lt. Richard Cosby said. "While speaking with the complainant, the officers were approached by another woman who told officers that the subject they were talking with had thrown items at their cars while in the parking lot, and that the incident had been videotaped, which was subsequently shared with the officers."
Busted! She was actually seeking REFUGE? From what? Good people who got ripped off and caught you red handed? Micha must have thought she was slick, that is, until the owners of the cars who took bottles to their windshields approached and video evidence was produced.
